Bra Line Back Lift Before & After Case 1648

This 61 year old patient asked Dr. Parker to tighten the loose skin on her back after a 25 pound weight gain, then loss. The patient is 5’7” tall and weighs 170 pounds. After reviewing treatment options with Dr Parker, the patient elected to have a bra line back lift. Just before the surgery, Dr Parker traced the outline of the patient's bra on her back. He then pinched the skin above and below it to estimate the amount of skin to be removed from above and below the intended incision line to be hidden beneath the bra. In the  with operating room, the patient was positioned prone under general anesthesia, Dr. Parker aggressively pinched the skin with surgical clamps to test and confirm his earlier markings. Dr Parker then proceeded to excise the loose skin and fat centered over the bra line, then closed the incision with multiple layers of absorbable sutures. The patient said the recovery was quick and easy with very little pain. She is very happy with the significantly improved contour of her back and says she  is able to conceal the scar easily with her bra.
