This 37 year old existing patient of Dr. Parker’s  returned to see him after a surprise pregnancy 10 months earlier with a 90 pound weight gain, then loss. Dr. Parker had performed a breast augmentation and vertical mastopexy on her breasts two years ago, inserting 450 cc silicone implants into a dual plane location. Now the patient asked to have an abdominoplasty as well as a secondary breast lift to improve upon the very loose skin which had developed. The patient had gained, then lost 80 pounds with each of 3 prior pregnancies. The patient said her weight is now stable. She is 5’3” tall and weighs 113 pounds. At this surgery, Dr. Parker performed a secondary vertical mastopexy, also known as a “lollipop lift”, because of the shape of the incision. He inserted a piece of absorbable Galaflex scaffold inside his breast incisions as additional support during the healing process. He also performed an abdominoplasty. The patient was pleased with her rapid recovery again after surgery and loves the appearance of her breasts and abdomen.
