Breast Implant Revision Before & After Case 602

This 35 year old patient had a breast augmentation with another plastic surgeon ten years ago, whereby 330 cc saline implants were inserted through transaxillary incisions into dual plane pockets. Four years ago, the left implant spontaneously deflated. The patient and her husband said the implants always sat too high on her chest. She requested that Dr. Parker replace her existing implants with silicone implants and place them lower on her chest. The patient is 5’5″ and weighs 125 pounds. During her Sizing and Shaping Session, she chose 500 cc silicone implants. At surgery, using well concealed inframammary incisions, Dr. Parker removed her prior implants, dissected the dual plane pockets to accommodate the larger implants including appropriate release of the pectoralis major muscle just above the inframammary fold. He then inserted the 500 cc silicone implants into the pockets and placed directly on the inframammary folds. Pleased with her rapid recovery, the patient and her husband told Dr. Parker “the work you did is amazing”. She and her husband both absolutely love the way she looks.
