Mommy Makeover Before & After Case 1654

This 50 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested a Mommy Makeover. She had 540 cc saline breast implants inserted by another plastic surgeon 15 years ago along with a vertical mastopexy. She asked Dr. Parker to replace these implants with smaller ones that had more projection as well as a secondary breast lift. She had read a lot about implants and was excited for him to insert Motiva implants, which were new in this country at the time. In addition, after having had one child and sustained a 55 pound weight loss, she asked him to perform a tummy tuck and liposuction of her hips. The patient is 5’4” tall and weighs 128 pounds. At surgery, Dr. Parker replaced her 540 cc saline implants with Motiva Smooth Round Demi 475 cc implants in order to reduce the diameter of her breasts, give her more projection and more upper pole fullness. In addition, Dr. Parker performed a secondary vertical mastopexy (also called a “lollipop lift”), his version of a lipoabdominoplasty called a Parker Tummy Tuck, along with 360 lipo of her hips, removing 200 cc of fat from each hip. The patient recovered quickly afterwards and loves the size and shape of her breasts as well as the markedly improved contour of her abdomen and hips.
