Neck Contouring Before & After Case 1182

This 51 year old requested rejuvenation of her puffy lower eyelids and the fullness in her neck. Dr. Parker performed a lower lid blepharoplasty, removing the herniated fat through a transconjunctival approach. Because she had good skin tone, the patient did not require removal of skin from her lower eyelids. Dr. Parker next performed a neck lift whereby he removed fat from beneath the medial platysma muscles, sutured them together (called a "medial platysmaplasty"), then tightened the lateral platysma muscles (called a "lateral platysmaplasty") and removed excess skin from the neck using incisions well concealed behind the ears. The patient is happy with her more youthful appearance.
