Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1634

This 44 year old patient, referred by another patient, requested improvement in the appearance of her nose. She was bothered by her bulbous tip—she requested it be refined and set back, her dorsal hump reduced, improve the symmetry of her nostrils and try to keep her tip from drooping with smiling. At surgery, Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty during which he reduced the patient’s bony cartilaginous hump along with infractures, refined and set back her tip cartilage, resected her depressor nasi septi muscles to help reduce her tip from drooping with smiling and inserted alar contour grafts to stabilize and improve the symmetry of her nostrils. The patient was very pleased with the ease of her recovery and loves the natural-looking appearance of her nose.
