Gynecomastia Surgery Before & After Case 1671

This 32 year old requested to improve his asymmetric, large breasts which enlarged at puberty and have stayed that way. He says his weight has always been stable. The patient denied any use of anabolic steroids, marijuana or similar stimulants to causing gynecomastia. At surgery, under local anesthesia, Dr. Parker removed the excess fatty and fibroglandular breast tissue with a liposuction cannula, an arthroscopic shaver and needed a hemi areolar incision on the right breast to remove some thickened, resistant fibroglandular breast tissue. The patient recovered quickly and well. He is very pleased with the significantly improved appearance of his breasts and his well-healed, virtually imperceptible scars.
