Breast Implant Revision Before & After Case 586
Before & After
Case Details
This 46-year-old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested removal and replacement of her implants. She had undergone silicone breast augmentation 7 years earlier in Venezuela. A recent mammogram showed her left breast implant to have ruptured. Her right breast implant had become hard in recent months, developing a capsular contracture. The patient wished to remain the same size. Using the patient’s existing inframammary incisions, Dr. Parker removed the existing 300 cc silicone implants and their surrounding capsules, performing total capsulectomies. He then created neo-subpectoral pockets and inserted the new 300 cc implants into both breast pockets. The patient was thrilled with the ease of her recovery and loves the appearance and soft feel of her breasts.
