Breast Implant Revision Before & After Case 1567

This 62 year old nurse, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, is status post the insertion of 300 cc saline implants through peri-areolar incisions into dual plane pockets elsewhere 6 years ago. Two years ago, she sustained a deflation of the left implant. That implant was replaced with the same size implant by the prior surgeon only to then have a recent deflation of her right implant. During her consultation with Dr. Parker, the patient asked him to replace her saline implants with the same size silicone implants. At surgery, Dr. Parker removed the patient's saline implants, re-expanded the somewhat contracted pocket in the right breast and inserted 300 cc silicone implants in both breasts. He then carefully closed the pre-existing peri-areolar incisions with multiple layers of absorbable sutures. The patient was thrilled with the ease of her recovery and loves the appearance of her breasts.
