Neck Contouring Before & After Case 1672

This 38 year old requested improvement with the fullness of his central area which has begun to bother him in recent years despite mild changes in his weight. After Dr. Parker examined the patient he explained he appeared to have deep seated fat beneath the medial platysma muscles in his central neck. Dr. Parker recommended a Minimal-Incision Neck Contouring procedure, to be performed under local anesthesia. He explained that he would use a short, well-concealed submental incision in the natural chin crease to excise the excess fat from beneath the platysma muscles. He would then suture them back together (called a "medial platysmaplasty") to make this area perfectly smooth. Dr. Parker would then perform liposuction of the lateral neck on either side using tiny access incisions hidden behind his ears. The patient agreed to this plan. Dr. Parker subsequently performed this procedure under local anesthesia several weeks later. The patient said he was comfortable throughout the procedure and was very pleased with his recovery afterwards. He is very happy with the natural, but markedly improved appearance of his neck.
